Voice responsiveness

RevSystems is engineered for responsive, natural turn taking so callers do not have to wait through an artificial pause after they finish speaking.

The clearest conversational measurement is:

Caller stops speaking → first audible agent response

This measures the delay a caller experiences before the next agent turn begins. It is more useful for a live conversation than measuring an isolated page request or a background task.

Selected accepted production-call samples have started agent audio approximately 0.55–0.96 seconds after the caller stopped speaking on healthy paths.

These are rounded observed samples, not a guaranteed service level. Actual response time can vary with:

  • phone network and caller connection quality;
  • background noise and uncertain turn boundaries;
  • the type and complexity of the caller’s request;
  • whether the next step requires availability or another real-world action.

Fast first audio is only one part of a good call. A dependable experience also avoids clipping, preserves the caller’s actual answer, and confirms real actions from authoritative records. Booking, handoff, and message outcomes should still be verified in Agent Center.
