Prepare appointment booking
Prepare booking as a complete action before using it in a qualification outcome.
Configure the booking section
Section titled “Configure the booking section”Open Calendar & Booking. Confirm the business timezone and intended availability. Enable availability checking first, then confirmed booking when you are ready for real appointments.
Test availability before enabling confirmed booking. Ask for a time that should be open, a time that should be closed, and a broad request such as “sometime Thursday afternoon.” Correct the availability source before testing writes.
Test the caller path
Section titled “Test the caller path”A dependable test should:
- ask for a day or time range;
- hear current options;
- select one of those options;
- provide the required name and callback information;
- clearly confirm the final choice.
If the selected time changes, the current availability should be checked before the appointment completes.
Also test a caller who changes their mind, declines the offered times, or ends before final confirmation. Those conversations should not create a completed appointment.
Verify the appointment
Section titled “Verify the appointment”After the call, confirm the entry in the authoritative calendar and Agent Center. The caller’s agreement or a spoken confirmation is not enough by itself.
Add booking to an outcome
Section titled “Add booking to an outcome”Use Appointments to review confirmed bookings from the voice-agent path and the public booking link in one calendar-wide view. A public-link booking can appear there without an Inbox call record.
Only after the standalone booking test succeeds should you add Book an appointment to a qualified or not-qualified action order. Then test that full qualification-to-booking path separately.
If the action does not complete, use Booking did not complete.
