Booking did not complete
A scheduling conversation can stop before a confirmed appointment for several valid reasons. Identify the last completed step.
Check the booking controls
Section titled “Check the booking controls”Open Calendar & Booking. Confirm that availability checking is ready and that confirmed booking is enabled when you expect a real appointment.
Verify the business timezone and calendar connection before changing conversation wording. A timezone or availability mismatch cannot be corrected by asking the caller differently.
Check the conversation
Section titled “Check the conversation”Verify that the caller:
- received a current option;
- selected one of the offered options;
- provided the required name and callback information;
- clearly confirmed the final choice.
If the selected time was no longer available, the caller should receive another choice instead of a false success.
Check the records
Section titled “Check the records”Look for the appointment in the authoritative calendar and in Appointments. If the booking came from a voice-agent call, also review Inbox for the related call activity. A direct public-link booking can appear in Appointments without an Inbox record. Do not treat a preview conversation or spoken intent as a completed booking.
- If no current times were offered, isolate availability checking.
- If times were offered but no final choice was confirmed, repeat the caller-detail and confirmation path.
- If the caller confirmed but no record exists, preserve the call time and visible status for Support.
Retest in isolation
Section titled “Retest in isolation”Test booking directly before testing it as part of qualification. If direct booking succeeds but the qualification path does not, review the related outcome order.
